What are these scores?

The idea behind CHAAMP is not just to collect sports stories from around the internet, but also to give the users a way to rank which stories are the best. Every registered user has the ability to score 1 point for each story.

As users score points for the stories they like, the best stories will receive the most points. The stories with the most points will become the easiest to find. The highest scored stories will reach the front page, making them the most visible.

Even after they scroll off of the front page, the stories with the highest scores for the day, week, month, and year will always be visible on the top stories page.
